We are the Hughes family, a friendly and welcoming household in Pakuranga, where we live with our two teenage sons, both attending the local high school. Our home is a great place for a student looking for a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment while studying in Auckland.

The room available is large and well-furnished, featuring a queen-size bed, high-speed internet, and plenty of space to study and relax. The rent includes all utilities—power, water, and internet—so there are no extra costs.

We provide home-cooked meals daily, and you’re welcome to dine with us as part of the family. We only ask that you supply your own snacks if needed. As a family, we enjoy spending time together, sharing meals, and being part of our local community, which has a strong Asian presence and plenty of great shops, markets, and dining options nearby.

On Sundays, we attend church, and you’re welcome to come along if you’d like. However, we respect everyone’s preferences and encourage students to feel at home in their own way.
